What will a rebuild cost?
It depends on the drive and what is worn inside. Send Brad your drive model or a photo and he gives you a firm number before any work starts. No surprise bills.
How does mail-in work?
Pull the drive, strap it to a pallet, and ship it. Brad rebuilds it and ships it back tested and ready to bolt on. He will walk you through pulling and crating it if you need a hand.
How long does it take?
Brad gives you a straight turnaround as soon as he sees the drive, and keeps you posted while it is on the bench.
Which drives do you work on?
MerCruiser Alpha One and Bravo, Volvo Penta SX, DP and AQ, and OMC Cobra and King Cobra. Sterndrives and the engines behind them.

45 years inside inboard-outboard drives

Brad Pynn has spent his working life on sterndrives. He came up as a master I/O tech and has torn down and rebuilt more MerCruiser, OMC and Volvo Penta drives than he can count. He knows where each drive family fails and why.

That means an Alpha One gets treated differently than a Bravo. An OMC Cobra cooling issue is not the same animal as a Volvo SX shift problem. You get the fix the drive actually needs, explained in plain terms, at a fair price with no marina markup.
